Christian Ministry Training Pathway
New and Updated ACCM Courses for 2026–2027
Ambassador College of Christian Ministry (ACCM) is pleased to announce a significant refresh and expansion of its Christian ministry training pathway, with new and updated courses rolling out across Semester 2, 2026 and Semester 1, 2027.
These developments form part of ACCM’s ongoing commitment to providing Christ-centred, biblically grounded, and practically focused ministry education for church members, ministry leaders, and pastors.
The revised pathway strengthens both the Certificate of Christian Ministry and the Diploma in Christian Ministry, offering students deeper theological formation, practical ministry preparation, and leadership development for service in the life and mission of the church.
ACCM’s ministry training pathway is designed to help students grow in biblical understanding, spiritual formation, theological depth, and practical ministry leadership.
A Renewed Certificate of Christian Ministry
The Certificate of Christian Ministry continues to provide a strong foundation for Christian discipleship and ministry. Several core courses have been refreshed or newly developed to better equip students for contemporary ministry contexts.
Certificate of Christian Ministry — Core Courses
1. Jesus and the Gospels
Updated — Semester 2, 2026
This cornerstone subject explores the life, ministry, teachings, death, resurrection, and ascension of Jesus Christ through the four Gospels. The updated course places renewed emphasis on faithful biblical interpretation and Christ-centred ministry application.
2. Survey of Trinitarian Theology
New — Semester 1, 2027
This new course introduces students to the biblical and theological foundations of the Trinity and examines how a Trinitarian understanding of God shapes worship, discipleship, ministry, and mission.
3. Spiritual Formation
Students explore the lifelong process of transformation through participation in the life of Christ, learning how spiritual growth forms the foundation of healthy Christian leadership and ministry.
4. The Bible and Doctrines
New — Semester 2, 2026
This new course provides students with a strong foundation in biblical interpretation and Christian doctrine, equipping them for confident and informed ministry.
5. Christian Leadership
Updated — Semester 2, 2026
The revised leadership course focuses on servant leadership, healthy ministry practices, team development, and participation in the mission of God.
Strengthening the Diploma in Christian Ministry
Alongside the Certificate refresh, ACCM is introducing a number of Diploma-level courses designed to provide practical ministry training and advanced leadership development.

6. Introduction to GCI Polity
New — Semester 1, 2027
This course provides an overview of Grace Communion International’s governance structures, ministry philosophy, leadership responsibilities, and denominational practices.
7. Pastoral Life and Care
New — Semester 2, 2026
Students will develop practical and theological skills for pastoral care, discipleship, encouragement, congregational support, and ministry leadership.
8. Effective Preaching
New — Semester 1, 2027
Designed to help students prepare and communicate biblical messages effectively, this course focuses on Christ-centred sermon preparation and delivery.
9. Introduction to Christian Ethics
New — Semester 1, 2027
Students will explore Christian moral reflection, ethical decision-making, and the application of biblical principles to contemporary life and ministry.
10. Applied Christian Ministry
This practical integration course brings together the learning from across the pathway through ministry application, leadership development, reflection, and service.

The expanded pathway reflects ACCM’s vision of equipping women and men for effective Christian ministry through a combination of theological depth, spiritual formation, and practical ministry application.

The rollout of these new and updated courses begins in Semester 2, 2026, with additional courses launching throughout Semester 1, 2027.
