Privacy Policy
Protecting our students’ privacy is standard practice at ACCM. We understand that in today’s information-rich consumer environment, protecting personal information is essential to grow open and honest relationships with those we serve.
What Information is Collected and Why?
When someone signs on with ACCM, some personal information is required to facilitate our operations. We collect standard details for identification and transaction purposes such as name, address, contact numbers, email address, etc. We also maintain ongoing records of student performance, as well as all financial transactions pursuant to the function of the College. All such information collected is stored in our computer records.
Database, Security and Maintenance
ACCM database information is stored in order to quickly and easily identify people, deliver consistent service and streamline our service processes. We diligently audit the integrity of our database to ensure quality data is stored. Our in-house staff training programs include modules on how to maintain accurate information. Students may update and correct their contact details online.
Sensitive Information
ACCM does not collect any sensitive information for the purposes of providing training to our students.
Can Students access their own information?
ACCM students, employees and contractors may access their personal information via the “My Profile” option in the Student Services menu (left). For information not accessible via this means, students may request an electronic summary of personal information contained in our databases by emailing the Registrar c/- re*******@am******.org . ACCM may need to charge a small fee for the provision of this information. Student database information collected is strictly confidential and for the sole use of Ambassador College of Christian Ministry.
ACCM Adheres to the following PRIVACY PRINCIPLES:
•ACCM only collects personal information by fair, lawful and non-intrusive means.
•ACCM only uses or discloses information for the purpose for which it was collected.
•ACCM takes reasonable steps within the boundaries of accepted everyday work practices to ensure that the personal information it collects, uses or discloses is accurate, complete and up-to-date.
•ACCM implements systems that protect the personal information it holds from misuse and loss and from unauthorised access, modification or disclosure.
•ACCM has a policy document outlining its information handling practices and makes this available to anyone who asks.
•ACCM provides personal information it holds about an individual on request by that individual.
•ACCM does not adopt, use or disclose, an identifier that has been assigned by any government agency.
•ACCM only transfers personal information to a recipient in a foreign country in circumstances where the information will have an appropriate level of protection.
•ACCM does not collect sensitive information unless the individual has consented, or it is required by law.
